ReadProgress stores imported documents, OCR text, reading progress, and settings locally on your device. On iOS and iPadOS, the share extension passes selected items locally through an Apple App Group. The app only accesses the network when it fetches a web address you selected. OCR and language detection run with Apple frameworks, and speech uses Apple system voices whose availability varies by device and installed downloads. You can delete individual documents; deleting the app removes its local data. The developer operates no document server and collects no personal data, analytics, advertising data, or tracking data.
