Privacy Policy

Summary

MusMo is a local-first visualizer. It does not require an account and does not contain advertising, tracking, third-party analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. The developer does not collect personal data or receive your photos, microphone audio, visual sets, or usage activity.

Information Handled By The App

MusMo can handle photos you select, visual-set names, effect and projection settings, microphone-derived audio features, and a preference recording whether you dismissed the battery notice.

Microphone

If you allow microphone access, audio is processed in memory on your device to calculate values that drive the visuals. Raw audio is not recorded, saved, or sent to the developer.

Photos

Photos you select are copied into MusMo's private app storage. They are not uploaded to the developer or to an external service. You can remove individual images or delete an entire visual set inside MusMo.

External Displays And Optional Local-Network Pairing

Showing visuals on a wired or AirPlay external display is handled by Apple's operating systems. If a compatible MusMo Apple TV companion is available and you choose to pair with it, selected images and derived audio-feature values are sent directly between your devices over the local network using encrypted Apple Multipeer Connectivity. The developer cannot access that transfer.

Storage, Retention, And Deletion

MusMo stores visual sets, selected images, and the battery-notice preference on your device. Deleting an image or set removes its local files. A paired Apple TV companion caches only the currently synced visual set and removes superseded cache files. Uninstalling the app removes its remaining local data according to Apple platform behavior.

Data Collection

MusMo does not send your app data to a server operated by MusMo or its developer and does not share your app data with third-party partners. Under Apple's App Privacy definition, MusMo does not collect data because app data is not transmitted off the device to the developer or a third party.

Your Choices

You can revoke microphone, photo, or local-network permission at any time in system Settings. You can delete visual sets and images inside MusMo.

This policy will be updated when MusMo's data handling changes. The date above identifies the current version.
